Roll out your sleeping bag, douse yourself in bug spray, and prepare for a week of sleeping on the ground to the soothing — perhaps sometimes unsettling — sounds of nature (fingers crossed for clear skies).

Not your cup of tea? There are still plenty of ways to enjoy the escapism and recreation of traditional camping without giving up the comforts of home.

You can rent an RV, book a no-frills cabin, or — if you are looking for a more elevated experience — try out the increasingly popular glamping.

"Glamorous camping" may sound like an oxymoron. Is it even camping if you're not roughing it by ditching certain luxuries to truly embrace all nature has to offer?

To that I say, if it gets you immersed in the outdoors and scratches your itch for a unique adventure — whether it's in a leaky pop-up in a remote location or in a tricked-out tent equipped with an espresso machine — there's nothing wrong with that.

In fact, you can find a cute, secluded glamping getaway right in your backyard that offers a little of both.

There's a glamping spot tucked away on a family-run Christmas tree farm in Tiverton that's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Located at Hilltop Tree Farm on Highland Road, the site combines modern luxury with rustic for an enchanting camping experience.

Considerably more laid-back than other glamping options with fewer amenities, the site includes a tent with a queen-size bed and a heater, as well as a deck where you can kick back on Adirondack chairs and take in the view of 100-plus cedar trees.

A big plus: No setup required. Skip those hours of unboxing and wrangling with your uncooperative tent and instead get cozy and dive right into your camping adventure.

According to its listing on Glamping Hub, the campsite accommodates a total of six guests. For those who don't get dibs on the cushy tent, an extra five-person pop-up dome tent is also provided.

Worried about the bathroom situation? While the site doesn't offer the conveniences of a high-end hotel, it does have your basics covered with a "NASA-inspired dry toilet," as well as an outdoor solar shower.

The property boasts seven acres laced with trails. And if you're looking for a short break from solitude, there's plenty to explore just a walking distance away. Check out various conservation trails or head to the Sakonnet River, where there's lots to do and see — from shops to coffee spots to cafes and restaurants.

According to its listing on Tentrr.com, the keeper of the site also offers extras like a guided hike of the neighboring Fort Barton Woods, its Revolutionary War tower, and a historical tutorial about General Barton and Tiverton.

Those looking for a more relaxing excursion can also hit nearby town beaches such as Grinnell's, Fogland and Seapowet.

And after a busy day on foot, guests can lounge in a hammock or chill by the fire pit that doubles as a grill, where they can prepare a meal to enjoy on their picnic table.

For evening entertainment, gather around the fire and do some star-gazing.

The site goes for around $175 per night, according to Tentrr. However, it appears they don't currently have any availability. But you can read reviews of past campers to get a feel for the place.
